Interesting, in England I would be a minority either way I can model my genetics as Scottish or Scottish, Cornish and Kent English (not sure which model is more accurate) so I guess I would be 'british white' until I open my mouth, that is !

    P.S. I am not a child anymore, though !

As an American of overwhelmingly British descent, you can classify yourself as either White British or White Other.

    Ethnic minority groups and GE2019
Labour performed better than the Conservatives amongst ethnic minority groups. Ipsos MORI estimates Labour won the votes of 64% of all Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) voters, while 20% voted for the Conservatives and 12% for the Lib Dems.

Seats that had large BME populations at the 2011 Census tended to vote Labour. Labour won in 113 seats that had a larger-than-average BME population, while the Conservatives won 53 and the Lib Dems four.

A short sighted view (bring in people for their votes). There will eventually be blood in the streets.

Even taking into account that Britain is still not quite as multiracial as the US, I would also argue that voting patterns are less polarised and more varied here than there, where you have Aframs and Puerto Ricans in particular who are almost homogeneously Democrats, while Republicans are increasingly seen as the party of old White men.

    +1 tooting Carmen

Also, a Jeremy Corbyn state of affairs would not happen in the USA in the sense he could have been elected unlike Bernie Sanders.

You're living in the past. Ireland is an independent country since 1922 and also has one of the most successful economies in Europe and has the second highest GDP per capita after Luxembourg in Europe. The Scots and Irish get along very well but no the Scots are not considered brother gods to the Irish. Post something about the countries now to compare not focusing on the past when Ireland was a colony of Britain.

Ireland was the European country with the highest share of graduates in 2020 with over 40 percent of those aged between 15 and 64 having a degree in that year.

GDP per capita is not relevant. Ireland is inflated due to it's position as a tax haven. Same thing applies to Luxembourg, Monaco and Liechtenstein. You're one of the most irrelevant economies within the EU.

The average Belgian earns 10% more in real wages than the average Irish monkey with a 5% lower cost of living. GDP per capita less than half of Ireland.. Just shows how irrelevant it is.

It's not any more a tax haven than Britain. England no 1 on this list.

Not surprised getting a comment from you either. You have some problem with the Irish.

This is the Top 10 most competitive economies in Europe.

The top 10 European economies based on competitiveness are:

    Switzerland

    Denmark
    Ireland
    Netherlands

You're obviously not someone to take much heed of when you call people "Irish monkey". Obviously some bigot that crawled out of the woodwork.

Here is purchasing power in Europe

You've obviously been here previously under some other moniker.
