Yet reggaeton is still amazing compared to disco-polo. I am not sure whether you in Spain have an equivalent of this crap, probably not so you're lucky.

I swear I was a Puerto Rican In my previous life, I love PR and their culture.

This isnt real puerto rican culture.

Real puerto rican culture is made up of hispanic music like salsa, mambo, merengue, jibaro / cuatro, boleros boogaloo, pachanga, pasacalles, charanga ect.

This was americanization of latin Americans in a spanish language.

Reggaetong literally is just hip hop music but they added a carribean jamaican vibe to it and rapped in spanish. Thats what it is really. Then reggaetong moved away from the non hispanic carribean influence more recently.
