On weekdays, a sandwich for lunch (usually cheddar and something else) toast for breakfast sometimes, breakfast is optional and on-the-go. Most days a standard red meat and veg (or chips and salad if steak) dinner. For snacks, most often Cheese and crackers.

My favourite recipe is sauteed julienned carrots in maple thyme glaze. I eat it daily. I love to julienne the carrots with a julienne peeler. It takes me just a few seconds and then I stir them for 5 minutes and add maple syrup and freshly chopped thyme.

I have a lunch or late lunch between 13 and 17, usually some combination of meat and carbs with soup optional, with a snack to finish it off afterwards (small chocolate bar type), and then a roll with ham or cheese or some kind of pastry later as dinner, or sometimes scrambled eggs. inbetween that as well as later into the night I might have fruit, a yogurt, maybe crisps or cereal. Sometimes I only have soup for lunch, if it's very thick and filling, but it's best if I eat meat or fish for lunch at least every other day (usually chicken or pork). I drink black tea in the afternoon and evening.

When physically in class that's reversed. I bring rolls and cured meats or cheese for lunch, and will eat the actual cooked food for dinner later. If I'm too hungry and had no lunch, I'll get a dönner on the way home, but that's rare. I don't eat breakfast unless I had to wake up several hours earlier than normal and if I do, it's the same as dinner - pastry, or buttered rolls with ham or cheese.

No sea food except for kelps, once a year a fish(either fresh or sea, lobster and crab considered as fish here), for either Xmas or Spring Festival or my birthday, if eaten for one occasion then no fish for the rest of the year no matter what happens. Totally no beef and mutton as much as possible.

Daily eat pork, common poultry eggs, vegs, rice, once a while chicken, duck, turkey; drink milk, tea, and fruit juices also some cheap wines and beer too. A bit bland most of the time, use some pepper, anise, chinese traditional 5 spice blend, a little iodined salt with a few drops of soysauce to the dish.

What's the issue with fish and beef? Something special or you just dislike it?

Fish to me is a sign of vulnerability and defenselessness, I found people treat fishes in underdeveloped regions very cruelly, to these people as if fishes got no nerves just because they can not scream. So Fish is also a sign of spiritual awakening for me, in which sense I have to eat once year as a ritual. Beef and mutton because a spirit medium told me my ancestral tribe worshiped the bull and sheep and adviced me to avoid them in food. Also pigs were worshiped as a meat giver in my ethnic culture while dogs as the wheat/crop giver therefore also not allowed to eat the pets. I told my mom how to prepare a fish is to use a very sharp knife to swiftly chop off the head first before doing anything else and do not allow the seller to prepare for us because they will do their own primitive ways. But still the most chinese traditional way is not to chop the head while preparing in special occasions because to keep the fish a whole piece means continual prosperity, moreover to chop off the head even signfies failing in fortune, I just do the opposite way.

One or two meals a day. Occasional snacking in between.
