Does one really need an excuse for misanthropy ?

1.) Humans call themselves 'wise hominids' : homo- sapiens

,2.) Climate change is the greatest market failure in history

3.) Human civilization is a type 0 on the Kardashev scale

4.) Humans are like chimpanzees on an individual basis

5.) Humans need to believe in collective lies or myths to function in large groups

6.) Mental disorders are one of these lies or myths and show the inhumanity of man towards man e.g. Egon Monaz won the Nobel prize for inventing the lobotomy

Etc.. etc ..

I won't comment other thesis, but what is bad about chimps? What have they done to you? Should they also be exterminated because they are similar to humans?

Basically , it is unthinkable that chimps will colonize other planets and that is bad for the same reason the Dinosaurs probably got wiped out e.g. asteroid hitting the earth. It is also unthinkable they will reach a Kardashev scale I/II/III civilization.

It also slightly increases the odds that more intelligent life exists in the universe ( important due to possible conflict with aliens):

Anyway, chimps don"t need to be exterminated because they are irrelevant before they can evolve into another more advanced hominid digital dictatorships will arise probably and human guided intelligent design (AI, CRISPR, nanotech etc ...) will give rise to a super hominid that will exterminate humans like humans exterminated neanderthals.

Humans will be exterminated regardless but I am just ahead of the trend or whatever.

It is simpler than all that, I considered that your allusion to his ex-partner was mean and dirty, because making allusion to something so personal and that usually creates suffering with sarcasm seems that way to me. That kind of thing is not easy, especially when there is a child involved.

If something bothers me or seems like it's going too far in an argument, I say so, even if it doesn't concern me.

It's something I've done on this forum many times, regardless of whether it was women or men doing it. If you search a bit in this forum you will find examples of it.

I don't intend to win points with the person I "defended" and get her female attention by looking like a brave knight, because quite the contrary, most likely she thinks that I am not someone so close to her as to set myself up as her defender, and might even have felt more embarrassed than grateful.

I use to adopt a more protective attitude with whom I believe that in an argument or a confrontation is in a more vulnerable position.

If at some point I saw you in a particularly vulnerable moment, and they used something personal that hurts you a lot to humiliate you in an argument and I think you need some support , I could do the same.
