In Britain's case, I'd argue that the South Hampshire conurbation of Southampton-Portsmouth does, and also Exeter in Devon.

I wish there were. It is one of the things that Cuba has over us, a railway system. In this country, regrettably, the establishment has chosen to follow the Yanks on their car and highway culture, which isn't helped by the syndicates of the transportation sector that have sprang up in the wake of this.

London - and the tube stations are ugly and lack investment compared to the stunning and breathtaking Moscow metro stations that have lots of grand chandeliers and they have lots of new and state-of-the-art stations continuously being added.

Travel on the London Tube is expensive compared to the Moscow metro.

Same unfortunately in Colombia too. Even the Bogota-Santa Marta line was closed around three decades ago, so there are no railway lines in the country aside from goods tracks or heritage railways. If I were to move to Colombia or many other LATAM countries, the lack of trains would be really difficult for me to overcome.

One of the things I miss the most from my European sojourn is that train and pedestrian culture. Cities are made to be walked and enjoyed there, and that was a refreshing change of pace to me.

Probably Melbourne, due to it's grid plan and uninterrupted sprawl. There are 222 stations on the Metlink.

    My line was Belgrave/Lilydale
    Spoiler!

Does Melbourne have much of an urban rail network as well though?

What do you mean? That is the urban network. It also has an extensive tram network, with 24 routes and 1763 stops according to wiki.
    Spoiler!
