    I think it's good entertainment, i like historical series.

    Some parts are fictional, like the one you mentioned or Magellan and Elcano being in the same ship. Or Magellan going to a prison to personally convince Elcano to join the expediction.

    Rodrigo Santoro does a great (european) portuguese accent, if it's really him talking.
