By their very high standards, the All Blacks have been quite wobbly since the last World Cup. They lost to Argentina for the very first time and had losses to South Africa, Australia, France and Ireland (both away and now at home).

They'd be pleased, but those interested in soccer know that friendlies are meaningless and thus wouldn't care much, and those not interested in soccer wouldn't care regardless. Australia beat Germany in Germany in a friendly in 2011, but it wasn't huge news. The most celebrated friendly win was when Australia beat England at Upton Park in 2003, but even that was forgotten pretty quickly. And the Australian Rugby Union team has about equal care factor for most people as the soccer team, perhaps less now.
    Spoiler!

Ireland 32 All Blacks 22 and Ireland have won the series. I hope Ireland can take their good form to the World Cup.

England beat Australia today 21-17, but unfortunately Wales lost to SA 30-14. Further, Argentina beat Scotland 34-31 with a last-minute try.

I've read this series flew under the radar in Australia. People more interested in AFL & State of Origin.

Still it was interesting to see England play a rugby match against the Wallabies at SCG for the first time in half a century. Likely to be the last time actually given the new stadium being built in Sydney. Also the administrators have decided to replace these traditional tours with a more lucrative 'Nations League' concept.

Yep, in winter AFL and Rugby League dominate the media so nothing else gets a look in. British Lions tours still garner plenty of interest though, as the equivalent of the Ashes.
    Spoiler!
