It refers to Warsaw uprising when rebels did install Polish flags instead of nazi ones, for a while. When Red army was waiting on the outskirts and waiting for nazis to finish the job.Originally Posted by Rumata

So this proves my point: the failed uprising is shown but the successful liberation (that I think cost much more lives) is ignored.
Btw, the fat general Ivan is rather unrealistic as Soviet army didn't know fast food.

Yeah, they would, if they have any honesty left. When Iron Curtain fell, Poland was economically on Ukrainian level.
