Hungary was much wealthier than Moldova/Belarus or whatever in early 2000s before EU, in 90s too. Look it up. So I do not agree that we would have living standards of Moldova without EU funds. By the way before we entered EU life here wasn't as horrible as you imagine. Before joining EU, Hungary was wealthier than Croatia too (I'm going by GDP/capita).

Do you still not understand I did not comment on leaving EU? I commented on your claim that Hungarian/Polish economy without EU funds = Moldovan economy. I am not saying EU membership wasn't beneficial for Hungary, but you were exaggerating.

In fact most of this EU money has been stoled and sent to offshore paradises. If the EU doesnt give money its rather losses of Orbáns oligarchs not losses of Hungary in general. These Fidesz oligarchs like Mészáros, Csányi, Kubatov etc have unimaginable amount of money in abroad. And these are mostly EU money.

hitler gave Poland piles of corpses and burned cities.
The soviets ended this hecatomb and gave the PRL - the period of the best economic and demographic development in the history of Poland.
It cannot be compared that these were identical zones. Even if the situation was difficult until 1956, it was not under the german occupation.

Youre wrong here. The cheap russian resources are keeping Poland and Hungary alive not the EU money. Without it, these countries dont work. We already see what will be the policy of Brussels in the next few decades: blocking the russian resources. So if Hungary and Poland are staying in the EU, they will be poorer than Kosovo. Btw the EU money is just alms, the western multinational companies take much more money out year by year. The only rational way is the HUXIT and joining to the BRICS countries, they are the future and they own the most resources on the Earth. EU has nothing and 40-50 years later they will be third world if the migrants will be the majority.
