It's the young ones that are there for the cheap alcohol and gather in specific areas to do that (the local authorities allow this to happen by the way). They get shitfaced and act out of character. British people that visit South Europe for its culture and food and so on, act perfectly fine.

The excuse of being young, the alcohol, etc does not work. We experience young Germans, young Italians, young Japanese... they dont behave like retards, British do.

II have heard of Greeks behaving badly abroad. It wasn't alcohol related but my whole university was banned from visiting another university in the Netherlands because some Greek students from a different department vandalized two classrooms while visiting for training purposes. It wasn't great hearing that.

I will agree on Germans and Norwegians, they are generally relaxed even if inebriated.

My personal experience is that Greeks behave correctly. I never read or see news about vandalic Greeks here. I see about vandalic British, vandalic North Africans, vandalic blacks.
