But it is that historically if they have been like this and they have not been only exceptions there are many cases, for example the Romans came to accept Germanics among their army in fact there came a time when they opened the doors to them. On the other hand, many Germanics only cared about themselves, the English empire was much more racist than the Spanish and French empires, when the Anglo-Saxons settled in the British islands they did not want to mix with the Celts, the Germans for a time were xenophobic against the Slavs, white Americans have been openly more racist than white Latin Americans (except for a few)
The only Germanic group that perhaps breaks this rule are the Vikings who had no problem mixing with other ethnic groups.

Maybe Scandinavians, that never really cared, should be exempted.
Btw. by the public and also by „MyTrueAncesry“ a lot of arbitrary „Viking Age“ individuals got labelled „Viking“. And a lot of foreign Sigtuna merchants from after the Viking Age (ending 1066) were labelled „Viking Age“ and even „Viking“, which then made a pretty wrong impression in the public about Vikings.
