No.
Telomeres are structures at the end of our chromosomes, protect the end of our chromosomes ( without them chromosomes would stick together prob.), during cell division they help properly replication and without them every time cell replicate we would lose part of important DNA.
But telomeres get shorter every time cell replicate and when they get too short to do their job, our cells age and they can't function properly any more.

But that is not the only reason why we age. There are many theories on aging. Some specific genes may just turn "off" and cause aging, also there are hormonal canges that may cause aging, with age our cells are not that efficiant in repairing themselves (after DNA synthesis cell identify and correct damage, that happens many times per day whole our life), then there is oxidative stress we accumulate as we age, then stem cells (cells that turn into other specific cells) -their function declines over time etc etc....
It's everything but simple.
And if we remove some of the mechanisms that at the end stops cells from growing like crazy, we get cancer cells, they don't mature like normal cells, they lenghten their telomeres.

Oxidative stress is basically what kills us slowly and eventually. We can replace a lot of things; We can change DNA, we can adjust hormones etc but what we cant do is setting up a waste-disposal mechanism for free radicals. Even evolution has no answers through billions of years for removing the waste from body. Because theyre too small and too many.
