    It is interesting more Americans don't move to Australia because it has a culture most similar to the USA, probably.

    I like Aussies, but with all due respect: what would there be for them to do? Most of Western Australia is basically desert and barely habitable for humans, while whatever economic opportunities exist in the southern and eastern pockets where most people live can be found in much greater abundance in the US itself.

    And while it is true that 1 million British people live in Australia, the main difference is that Britain is cold and overpopulated, which the US really is not.

    It is still less corrupt than America and most people, in Canada, live near the border with the USA too (meaning most of it is unpopulated like Australia). Also, less corrupt nations such as the UK present a significant culture shock to Americans unlike Australia and some more corrupt countries, on the list, offer more culture shock too.
