Which ethnicities/nationalities have an absolute majority who can pass reasonably well as Danes?

IMHO, almost all Swedes and Norwegians could of course, and to a marginally lesser extent Icelanders, Finns, Baltic people, Dutch and Northern Germans. I think maybe 50-60% of Belgians, Poles, Czechs, and British people could pass fairly well too. (Though with some internal variations - more Flemish than Walloons could pass, while in Britain I think most Scots and Eastern English could pass, but for the Welsh and Western English no more than 50% could). Furthermore, maybe around half of Irish, Southern Germans, Northern French, Austrians, Swiss and Belarussians are passable too. What do others think?

All Scandinavian countries bar Finland, Dutch, northern half of Germany and perhaps Scotland. I think the English are often too dark to pass as Danes though perhaps a slight majority can pass, no where in the rest of Europe looks that Danish.

Between Poles and Belarusians, what would make Poles pass better as Danes?

I think you judge them from West-East paradigm, but you understand that Poles and Belarusians are metrically basically identical?


The biggest difference between Poles and Belarusians is that Poles are slightly darker, which would actually make them less passable for Danes.
