I don't know about it being fake. But lesbians are less promiscuous than gays because women as a whole are less promiscuous than men are. If women were as horny as men you'd see all kinds of new STDs popping up. For example Africa. It's a hotbed of STDs because African women have libidos that are quite high for women.

I don't really want to get into a discussion on this subject but I doubt pre-menopausal straight women have less sex than straight men, regardless of intent. And why do so many Lesbians act and dress like men, if they're attracted to women? Relatively few gays dress like women AFAIK.

The straight women I've talked to do not have any interests in lesbianism.
But when a woman hates them for no reasons, that woman is considered a lesbian.
I have also noticed that in societies where homosexuality practically doesn't exist, women and men don't compare themselves to people of the same gender and they don't think about their size, like they do in the western countries.

Most religious fundamentalists - even of the Taliban/Wahhabi sort - obsess much less about lesbianism than male homosexuality, even though I agree they wouldn't support lesbian marriage either.

Probably some of these Wahhabi/Talibans are gay themselves so this is how their internalised self-hatred manifests. And it does subverts a role of a male more indirectly. Plus female sexuality has been historically being paid less attention too.

Well actually, one of the good things the Taliban did was to outlaw the hitherto widespread practice of paedophilia in Afghanistan, even though this came under a generalised ban of homosexuality.

It must be the same, and me being attracted to women, regardless of what they are attracted to, should not bias my judgement. I'd regard both male and female homosexuality "morally neutral".
