Ironically, these are generally countries that, in most other circumstances, would be labelled 'backward' and 'inferior' by many if not most members here.

That's because homosexuality isn't pushed on them.
Homosexuality, like race-mixing, mass immigration, forced racial integration and multiculturalism are pushed heavily on white countries.

It's another thing those that want to see the white race, and white nations destroyed, are using to genocide us.
Of course if we say anything about it we're demonized, and called racist, homophobic, transphobic, and hateful.

What is ironic and disappointing is that, while most of the world still embraces the tackier aspects of globalisation - gradually replacing their own language in question with English, McDonald's, coca-cola, skyscrapers, shopping malls etc - at the same time in the name of national and cultural integrity (especially in African and Islamic nations), the Enlightenment ideas of reason, tolerance and liberty are deliberately and openly rejected, with gays, women and non-believers usually the first victims as a result.

Well I remember there was a lot of hullaballoo when Putin introduced the law banning the "prohibition" of homosexuality in Russia, even though it went nowhere near as to criminalise homosexuality itself. And the Russian government's treatment of Pussy Riot has also been controversial.

Because it is illiberal and repressive? And however much Putin and his acolytes might talk the talk of 'family values' and 'tradition', Russia is in many ways even more 'decadent' than the West in terms of its really low birth rates, shrinking population, widespread alcoholism and high levels of divorce and abortion.

That's fucking depressing as well, I did hear that their divorce rates were bad tho. There's this stereotype in America, that Russian and other Eastern European women are like these submissive, loving, loyal goddesses lol, but Idk never met one from there irl.
