Earlier on I was watching the rugby match between Argentina and Australia, played in Mendoza, and the crowd struck me as being barely if at all lighter/more Euro than most people in Cundinamarca. (Btw, after leading through most of the match, Argentina slipped badly in the last 15-20 mins and lost 26-41 ).

No, but they are surely more similar to Northern than Southern Mexicans, aren't they? Also, yes I agree they are not the super-Euro portenos many people have in mind when they think of Argentines.

Checking the pics better... some them are very mixed and could even pass as regular Venezuelans from any Venezuelan region and social class. Not only in the Venezuelan Andes or among middle to upper class Venezuelan people.
