Žižek has a speech impediment. He mispronounces the letters S and Z with a lisp.
Thus maybe that gives his English an extra Greek/Spanish vibe?
Because those two languages are kinda lispy...
The woman featured in OP's video is Marina Abramović, who is Serbian.
Here's some examples of English spoken by Slovenians without any lisp... I wonder what your impression is in these cases?
