Yes. My favourite swim styles are breaststroke and front crawl. I first started learning when I was 8 and swam for a team when I was like 12 or 13.

Yes. Learned to swim at about 7 yrs. of age in a lake nearby my parents’ house.

I don’t really swim in the pools, just fresh water swimming holes or in the sea.

I saw, they swam like everyone else. If I remember correctly, the ex communist government brought this "everyone must swim" law and the new democratic government didnt change it. But there were such laws like if youre farmer then you must kill the potato bugs because they can be american spies

Strange, we never had this in USSR/Russia, I learned to swim being like ten years old.

yes. we don't have special schools, we learn swimming on our own just spontanously.. kids and teens together usually visit wild rivers, lakes, seas(caspian and black) without adults
