(East) Mediterranean eyes are almond shaped (either positive or negative canthal tilt) and have droopy bags underneath as a requirement. Those bags can be of varying effect.

Your picture doesn't reflect that very well.

If in doubt, refer to my avatar/classification thread.

Hearing that is like naming Galia to refer to France. Iberia or Hispania can be used in an evocative way but we don't use those terms for modern topics.

We are Spanish and our country is Spain, it is anachronistic for us to be using anachronistic or old terms to refer to Spaniards.

I won't comment on the bug eyes, as Hungary is a country that I don't think is on the minds of Spaniards.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Britain has both big and small eyes as it is a transitional nation between Meds, Nordics, Cro Magnons, France has smaller eyes generally being more alpine, Spain has big eyes as a rule and Spaniards can be identified here by their big emotional eyes. Germanics as a rule have small eyes, especially the Flemish who often look unemotional as a rule. Scandos have slightly larger eyes, especially the Swedes but the Finns of course have smaller eyes being a reserved CM nation. Slavs have eye sizes all over the place but big eyes are not uncommon because of their heavy med influence.

Strongly disagree. You need to see Sicilians and the Maltese. I had beautiful large eyes as a kid, although now they have settled. Nah Iberians generally have narrow eyes! The Italians and the Islanders have larger eyes (aka gracile meds).

So I wrote Spanish men in Google search (not women cos makeup alters eye shape) and they generally had almond shaped smallish eyes:
    Spoiler!

Typical Irish eyes slope down on the outsides.
