Where these Protestant Hungarians from Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county fit? Finland or Greece?
This thread inspired by Tooting Carmen's theory, that the Hungarians are one of the few transitional nation between North and South Europe.

Greece by far, it is like asking if the southern French look more Norwegian or Portuguese. Some individuals look fairly Finnish but the general theme is an alpine med one.

Some few would pass well in Greece, others would pass well in Finland, but overall (and most of them, individually) neither. As group they look Central European, neither Finn or Greek.
