Why should I be opposed to gay adoption?

I have read that many gay "marriages" are actually "open-relationships", which kind of ruins the point? Why aren't the just buddies or whatever then?

People on this site are often homophobic so they are opposed to it, but there are also people who say they aren't homophobic but still oppose gay adoption because they think gays raising a child is "bad influence", but I don't see that at all. Gays raising children is better than having the same children grow up in orphanages, imo.

To me this is not a very big deal, also because of very small numbers in total and the mentioned alternative.

But I can imagine that gay parents can be a role model to the child, then causing practical infertility.

I'm open to findings on that topic, but I guess there simply are no yet.

I'm not homophobic. To be homophobic would imply one is afraid of homosexuals. I'm not afraid of homosexuals. I'm just repulsed by homosexuality, and find it immoral and wrong.
Most pedophiles are gay too.
I feel kids should be raised by a heterosexual couple, not by gay couples.
So yes I feel gays should not be allowed to adopt children.

I feel people should only adopt kids that are the same race as them too.
Meaning whites should only adopt white kids. Blacks should only adopt black kids, mixed people should only adopt mixed kids etc.

There are plenty of heterosexual paedophiles too. In fact, most of those celebrity scandals in recent years here in Britain have been straight, such as Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris. And most gay men stick to the age of consent.

Parents are the most powerful influencers on a child. So if you consider a gay family a norm - don't oppose the adoption.

Having an absent father or mother has statistically shown a bad influence on any child.

Gay relationships by default make you either have an absent father or mother.

Let alone the religious and moral reasons, but I gave up to explain it to people that have no morals and values.

Id never let my child play with a kid that has gay parents and god forbid ever let my kids in a house of a homosexual, they are statistically more likely to be pedophiles.
