Yeah, cool – absolutely no worries …
By now I know you are not into Taoism, but it is a Taoist thread and somebody who is knowledgeable about the subject could potentially have further info.

In Shamanism, we do not have those kinds of inner alchemy energy practices either, but the World Pole – the Polar Star (reality orientation and the 3 Worlds view) in and of itself unifies polarities … dualities of this and that, self and other … etc. etc. and the ‘end result’ parallels.

    P.S.

    Polar Star parallels:
    https://www.taoist.org/blog/taoism-and-the-north-star/
The Northern Dipper (Big Dipper) points to the North Star (Polaris). In Taoism the North Star is at the centre of cycles of change in the sky, in the universe, and in people. It is still and the whole sky turns around it. In Taoism, and in the Northern Dipper Scripture in particular, the North Star represents what is eternal and unchanging in the universe.

    https://www.patheos.com/library/taoi...lism/symbolism
The Great Dipper (Ursa Major) is central to the Taoist tradition. The Pole Star, the primary star of the Dipper, is the residence of Taiyi. To return to the One is to return, on one level, to the Pole Star. It is the place where all things begin and to which all things return.

A flaming pearl signifies the One, the Pole Star, and the original qi, and is worn on a pin at the top of the head to signify full initiation as a Taoist priest. This symbol is also often found on the roofs of Taoist temples, between two dragons.

I have heard that in Forbidden City, there is a secret shrine not open to general visitors, dedicated to a trio of Gods of Sky, Sea, Earth, I think the trio is quite cool and a bit greeky. In chinese proverb, there is also a term about unifying Man and sky into one, called: 天人合一. Also strangely, taoism has a sect centered around a book called 五公经/verses by the 5 masters, which propounds the idea of a coming apocalysis(the earlier child of man claim was misrespresented, from elsewhere not from 五公经), very christian if you ask. Yea, taoism is a very disorganized and chaotic system probably due to be reorganized in one or another way. As to "qi", we also call it as “ling-qi"/灵气/spiritual qi/spiritiual gas-air, the aeroform as the most foundamental devine element is all shared by hindu(brahma), chinese, Egyptian(Amun) civilizations, very curious fact. But I believe emptiness in the Buddhist and mentalist conceptions is even higher than this devine aeroform. The five element system is from chinese bagua is also remarkable as one of the prominent systems of the universal elements, while in Babylonian traditions, the two extra elements were the Moon and Sun, all the rest is literally the same with this chinese system...

Axis Mundi concept is testified in tibetan Buddhism where Falun is consider as the axis of the world situated deep under-Earth, in a mythical realm called Shambhala. Not a modern urban legend but a real local legend and belief tradition in Tibetan. Falun/法轮/the wheel of law, while being depicted as a symbol of Buddhism but in Tibetan tradition a real object of devine powers reserved to the highest master of Buddhist virtues elected after/before-death (Cākravartirāja/转轮法王 to rule over the physical world. Consider Earth as a ship and the Falun a rudder, hum, Captain Courageous!!
