Phenotypes of Russians

Population is extremely homogenous (all Russian/"Ukrainian" with probably a few odd exceptions) and almost purely Slavic (but with a clear Russian vibe). A similar selection of Romanians would show great variability in phenotypes, from Greek like to Russian like or Gypsy like.

Children are majority brown/blonde haired, including many with white-blond hair. Light eyes are dominant but dark hair in adulthood is the rule. The dominant phenotype is eastern cro-magnid, followed by Corded then ENF derived phenotypes (some med, dinaric, alpine). Same mix exists in Scandinavians (roughly same proportions), but latter are more rugged, blonder and IMHO better looking.

BTW: the two little girls in caption look exactly like my young mother and her sister (so it happens that Russian looks were common on my Romanian side of family).

Interesting range of types, neo danubians, baltids, nordics, pontids mainly and a few alpines but far less than Romania etc.

In Donbass they look at their purest... Excluding a few Turanid types, they have entirely East-Slavic appearance

Obviously we are talking about ethnic Russians, not about whole Russia
