Unfortunately my home state is sliding into "Cali like" madness, just because of Chicago area i think. I got pretty used to some peculiarities Chi has, like two murders per year on nearby intersection but this is too much. We still have unsolved killings from infamous Rogers Park killer (this is neighbourhood i live). By amount of police calls i get asking for donations, i would say we are underfunded(and indeed thats what guys calling me says. I do support local and state police but unfortunately i don't shit money, and by amount of those calls sometimes it looks like they think i do) . BLM effect to the fullest extent.

Living in Chi for last 12 years i feel for quite some time being white /or not gay is not desirable here.

I was always bugged with very low protest activity in the US. But i guess comparing small country (like mine) who overthrow government in one mass meeting, thats not possible in the US. Another option is that majority of people are happy with these innovations, i dont have better answer. But with the general trend, being white, religious (regardless of religion) and straight, will be soon great sin in the US, eventho you are technically minority (like me, i'm not American).

I travel to IL for business trips @ times, I always sense a negative vibe there and feel like i'm in an alien territory.. How do conservatives cope with living there? I wouldn't myself ^
