Are Muslim Balkaners culturally European?

This hat is called "fes" and, as I know, was worn by Muslims in whole Ottoman Empire (not only by Bosnian Muslims). Croats and Serbs didn't wear fes.

It can probably be dated back to previous empires, I was mostly emphasizing that it was worn by Bosniaks in the Austro-Hungarian army. Neither Serbs nor Croats would wear that, only if they wanted to disguise themselves.
So I don't know why Dušan describes them as orthodox serb?

The clothes the women wear in the beginning of the video are really confusing. I have never seen such things even in Bosnia.
The only explanation I can find for this is that it was some kind of sect or some people were obsessed with religion. I don't think workers or the aristocracy of the area wore such clothing.

The only clothing that would be familiar to Bosniak identity was the one that you posted, with the boy who wears a Fes.

That is real video created by Germans during WW2.
It clearly shows how people looked like, what they clothed, etc.

Bosniaks looked very MENA by cloth and behaviour, as one can see watching the video.

But that is like the area close to a famous mosque in Sarajevo, not a factory or a farm. People wore ethnic costumes on certain occasions, not every day.
