Post Is Queen Elizabeth II the Greatest European monarch ?

Queen Elizabeth II has been the world’s longest-reigning living monarch (and the fourth-longest in history) and presided over one of the greatest moments in the history of mankind such as post WW2, Independence for many commonwealth nations, White-black riots, Anglo-American world view, World dominance of the USA, Westernization of Asian countries, massive spread of English education world wide etc...

Is this the greatest European moment in the History ?

    Let us compare to
    • Queen Victoria
    • Charlamagne the Great
    • Catharine the Great
    • Octavian Caesar (Augustus)
    • Alexander the Great

The Victorian Era (1837–1901) is defined by the reign of Queen Victoria, who ascended to the throne at the age of 18 and ruled during the industrialization of England, encouraging tremendous change and expansive growth of England’s domestic and foreign power.

The Victorian Age was characterized by rapid change and developments in nearly every sphere – from advances in medical, scientific and technological knowledge to changes in population growth and location. Over time, this rapid transformation deeply affected the country’s mood: an age that began with a confidence and optimism eventually gave way to uncertainty and doubt and grievous conditions for the common man.

As head of state, Queen Victoria had presided over nearly a quarter of the world’s population. The dominance in Technology and warfare was complete by the time Queen Victoria died. At the turn of the 20th century, the Union flag was raised right across the map: from the farthest reaches of North America, across the Caribbean, over large swathes of Africa, throughout the Indian subcontinent and as far distant as Australia and New Zealand. The cliché was that Britain’s influence, power and control was so far-reaching, so all-encompassing, that the Sun never set on its empire. And it was true.

Catherine the Great (May 2, 1729–Nov. 17, 1796) was empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796, the longest reign of any female Russian leader. She expanded Russia's borders to the Black Sea and into central Europe during her reign. She also promoted westernization and modernization for her country, though it was within the context of maintaining her autocratic control over Russia and increasing the power of the landed gentry over the serfs.

She had her ministers carry out domestic and foreign policies designed to establish stability and peace; instituted reforms inspired by the Enlightenment, a philosophical, intellectual, and cultural movement of the 17th and 18th centuries; and updated Russia's legal system to provide equality of people under the law.

Charlemagne the Great, the eighth/ninth-century Frankish ruler often considered ‘Founder of Western Culture’.

Charlemagne (c747–814) was the ruler of a vast territory that later came to be known as the Holy Roman Empire. Becoming king of the Franks in 771, Charlemagne had a significant impact on theshape and character of medieval Europe. He embarked on several military campaigns across the continent, from Saxony in modern-day Germany to northern Italy and northern Spain, extending the Frankish kingdom and converting conquered territories to Christianity. These swathes of territory became known as the Carolingian empire, and Charlemagne is often remembered as a great military leader, empire-builder and politician.

In 799, Charlemagne assisted the Pope Leo and restored his power. Charlemagne thus became the first Holy Roman Emperor and an empire rivalling the Eastern Roman or Byzantine Empire was created. This is considered by historians as one of the most important moments in world history.

CHARLEMAGNE PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN THE SPREAD OF CHRISTIANITY ACROSS EUROPE
Charlemagne was devoted to Christianity and took several steps to spread the religion across his vast empire. He gave money and land to the Christian church and protected the popes. Through his religious reforms he strengthened the church’s power; educated the clergy and improved their skills; and standardized liturgical practices. He had Benedict’s rule copied and distributed to encourage monks throughout Western Europe to follow it as a standard. He also took an intense interest in church music and ensured its propagation and adequate performance throughout his empire.
