Gone were the days when Great Britain played major role in the wars such as WW1, WW2, Gulf War and influenced former colonies such as US, India etc.. in a positive way

Is the end of Queen Elizabeth II indicates decline of Great Britain in the current World. The Great war victories world wide of 1700s, 1800s, 1900s are they not possible any more ?

The tough fighting spirit in-spite of war casualties in World War 1 wars, especially Battle of Somme where Millions lost their lives to ensure victory for Britain and France over Germany, ensured Great Britain in a commanding position prior to Queen Elizabeth 2 was born. Her Grand dad King George V and his tough Commander in Chief of the British Armies in France and Flanders, Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig didnt budge an acre inspite of tough fighting conditions and German surprises on the field.

Later in the World War II, similar situations were encountered during D-Day and the Battle of Britain. However Churchill and King George VI remained tough, while Princess Elizabeth started as a second subaltern in the ATS and was later promoted to Junior Commander, the equivalent of Captain.
