Granddaughter? I'm only in my early 40s. Im not black so in my family we don't start having kids at 14.

Make sure that she's immature for her age too. I'm not being mean or rude. You just need an emotional match that's not too mature for you. We're in the same generation, but I'm like someone in the Greatest Generation compared to you. I haven't cornered the market on maturity, either.
