Croatia or Hungary: Where would you prefer to live?

Hard choice. For city life - Budapest without question, for life "closer to nature" - some of the least depressive Croatian town on the coast. There are no former Sevastopol residents - they are always drawn to the sea.
Plus such an unfair advantage as the Serbo-Croatian language. Won't touch politics and religion here, but both countries aren't familiar in this regard.

Hard to compare because they offer different. One has great city in Budapest but Croatia has nice coast, mountain so depends on person.

Wherever it is easier to own a house and do my own stuff. Don't know any of the two deeply enough to choose.

I love and respect Hungary very very much, but Croatia is my country.

I have no experience of Hungary, but my relatives who have been in Budapest say it's an interesting city to visit.

I have relatives on both my paternal and maternal side who have lived in Croatia since before the split of Yugoslavia.
So I chose Croatia.

If I had to move elsewhere I’d definitely live by the sea.

Sea and mountains for me too... without it I just feel awkward
