Cheesecake is German?
And to answer your rep, the blood-sausage wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

Thank God I'm Italian. (Just kidding)
I have an aunt who's married to an Austrian from Voralberg and from her I have the closest contact I can with German food. Your sweets are amazing. She makes Lebkuchen and some sort of dried fruit bread that is just addictive, and you can find Streußelkuchen nearly anywhere in the South. The only salty food I've had were Schnitzel, but that one you can't go wrong and it's not especially German.

Done this list before, but 4/20.
-Jam Doughnut (Berliner)
-Black Forest Gateau
-Pasta Salad
-Cheesecake
Only Black Forest is thought of as German though. Regular Chicken Schnitzel would be 5. Have only had the small hard snack pretzels, don't know if they count as German.
Spoiler!
