Here's My Peace Plan

The world's at stake. It's time for Russia and Ukraine to come to terms before we have a mushroom cloud with our pumpkin pie. Why don't the four regions hold a new vote to secede that is observed by a neutral group, and all parties must abide by the results? I see no other way, but maybe some visionary has a better plan.

Russia WANTS this war to continue into the winter, they're not gonna use nukes. If the war ends too soon, Europe won't suffer enough to realize how much they need Russia

That goes both ways. Other forces want Europe to realize how much they need *them*, and those forces might have played demolition frogman.

Yeah, sure, Russian conscripts want to wage war on the home turf of kindred Russkrainians in a possibly gangrenously flesh-numbing, engine-seizing, arctic-aired, sleetstorm, mud-stalled, sitting pigeon winter. What could go wrong? I've got a feeling the generals and oligarchs will end Putin and his reign of terror if he doesn't allow the Ukes to retain at least 3\4 of their country, which I think they could be persuaded to accept by the West. Unfortunately, the woke West officials dislike compromising with Russia as much as they do with their own Republican and Euro conservative opposition and common citizenry which they both call Nazis and fascists, so, I guess an inside plot against Putin may be the only option, unless Putin's suspected cancer accelerates enough to finally and safely shut his slaughterhouse of revolving corpses on moving hooks.

Just now Russia wants to have more war time, because they believe that the draft would give them advantage in the spring. Ukraine has now advancing and don't want peace either. In general there is too much lies, hatred and intrigues and making peace is challenging. Only third party could be China, but at first they should come with more neutral view to assure Ukrainians, but mybe China could is working silently and surprise.

The worst problem is that all sides act like peace talks are crazy ideas. That's not surprising since we live in Bizarro World. Maybe neutral countries and/or third parties could broker an acceptable framework to end hostilities. If not, the Cuban Missile Crisis will look like the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

End of war without Nikolaev, Odessa, Kharkov and Dnepr regions would be just a pause for the second war in few years.
