Russians will be always welcomed in Serbia, as well other Orthodox Slavs (Belarussians, Ukrainians) who could easily integrate into our society.

Of course it does work like that, compadre. It doesn't take much to realize that more people means more economic possibilities on a large scale in general. But that doesn't say anything about the condition of an average person - which is what actually matters and determines the success of a nation. If you think that India is better off than, say, Norway, just because of the higher nominal GDP then.. I don't know how to call it - an utter nonsense would be an understatement.

There are simply 400M avg middle people with access to best in Education, Jobs, urban life, urban apts, latest transportation etc.. that scale of things is happening only in China and India. That's right, I agree with you. I once invested heavily emotionally, financially in the family and spent a lot of time to live like a "normal person". I like to live like this, to feel normal, plus it saves me from inevitable degradation (I am prone to alcoholism and contemplation, a woman should sometimes give me a kick). Again, the son gives me the meaning to wake up in the morning. I will save all this to the last, because there is less and less love for the world and the breadth of the "Russian soul" left in me to build all this a second time.
