Yes, I have heard. But I think the two are related like Germanic languages to Slavic languages. Same root, but significant divergence.

I wonder if for Hungarians or Finns think that Indo European languages sound very similar. I have also heard that Turkish sounds somewhat similar to Finno Ugric languages to the untrained ear, despite no relation.

I'm with Italicus there. A song about bloody dog fights would sound like a gorgeous love song in a Romance language. My bottom choices include German, Chinese, Khoisan ("click, click"), and Yiddish. If "Yapping Toy Purse Dog" was a choice, it would be at the top of the bottom like some of the freaks in Slow Joe's regime.

I like the Germanic languages with the exception of English given it is much more nasal sounding and has contradictory grammar rules due to French corruption. Circassian is included because I do find the Caucasian cultures interesting and of them it is my favored.

Chinese is nightmarishly unstandardized. Arabic sounds harsh and is difficult. Swahili is obsessed over by Black nationalists whom use it to debase my native language. I think Italian sounds ugly and I personally dislike romance languages. Spanish same as italian minus sounding ugly plus being spoken too quickly and at too high a pitch.
