Great suggestion in a forum where you can count on your fingers the number of male members who are financially independent or live outside their parents' home in their 30s and 40s, let alone worrying about getting married in their 20s

Interesting. My father was 35 and my mother 31 when I was born, while my sister was conceived 9 years before me. We have had pretty similar results on everything we tried, but she needed a lot more effort, while I did (and still do) most thing without too much thinking but I'm very troubled with my choices and emotional state and this has held me back on some things.

The most "IQ-smart" person I knew was a child of a chinese woman and an austrian-brazilian man who was around 45-50 y/o when she was born.

It's hard not to agree. Nowadays people are a lot more dependent on stores and financial problems are one of main reasons of divorce.

From an Eastern European point of view, this is advice. For "western" or westernized people it's a fact. Most men will do odd jobs and/or study on their early 20's, and then work on entry level, low-paying jobs on their late 20's. So they'll both be unattractive to women due to having shitty finances and incapable of raising kids.

I think the advice can be more plastic. I'd say a man can marry only when he's financially stable. That's why on smaller, closer, non-atomized communities an early marriage is OK, other than the fact that high sex drive and the hormonal character may lead to fighting and cheating.

Yes, sounds about right.

I guess because higher IQ people have longer schooling period and tend to start their families later on average (there are exceptions but average for sure). Older fathers are usually better educated/of higher social status than younger ones so they tend to have higher IQ which children will inherit.

Married and first kid was born when I was 23. Just out of Uni and in a placement job - wife stayed at home she is a trained lawyer that never worked a day in her life because she spat out another three shortly after. Damn women.
