Over 100.000 Russians and about 18.000 Ukrainians in Serbia

Yesterday in the central news of Serbian national TV (RTS1) they said real number of Russiansin Serbia who arrived after February 24, 2022 currently is probably higher than 100K. They also said most of Russians want to stay in Serbia, and most of Ulrainians don't want to stay.

Few months ago I said I could hear quite often Russian in Belgrade donwtown.
Now I hear Russian in local gym, in grocery store in my neighbourhood in suburb of Belgrade.

My cousin from Zvezdara say one Russian family came to her neighborhood few months ago. Zvezdara is relatively far away from the center of Belgrade.

Russian and Ukrainian woman which come to Serbia few months ago on one Serbian TV. Younger red haired woman is Russian, she is doctor of medicine and she speak Serbian very good because she was in Serbia earlier in previous years (temporarily). Currently she is in Belgrade since May and works in profession mostly with Russian patients. Ukrainian woman still learning Serbian language. Interesting Ukrainian woman at 28:54 -29:00 said that Serbian language is closer to Ukrainian than to Russian.
