They are maybe snobbish Russians but still Russians, they are not Albanians which for decades ignored Yugoslavia and Serbia maximum possible and they were ready for armed uprising against Belgrade/Serbia. White Russians which arrived in Yugoslavia after 1920s and stayed there after WW2 (part of them escaped from Yugoslavia in 1944/45 when Red Army arrived) were assimilatted in Serbs.
They will add the strength to pro Western lobby in Serbia. Them and their kids current and future ones will have influence on your elections. Someway they're worse than Middle Eastern refugees.

Please, don't compare them, it's almost a blasphemy.

Yes, they are quite different types of Russians. I wanted to say that longer living somewhere leads to assimilation in modern times except in the case of very different groups as Jews in Europe, Albanians in Yugoslavia/Serbia, Algerians in France, Turks in Bulgaria etc. They are not that much different from Serbs. Like minded Serbs to them exist in Serbia in not so small number, especially in Belgrade. Few days ago in Belgrade some Serbian drugosrbijanci and Russian newcomers made a performance in honor of Navalny.

They probably don't want to have anything with people whose country has attacked theirs and who support their government and war in the vast majority. If I were Ukrainian, I would rather speak Martian when I see Russians.

Edit: this was answer to Victor's post about Ukrainians who don't want to speak Russian when they see Russians. It was his post about his cousin in Stuttgart.

You know nothing what I mean. These people hate everything Russian in caricature mode and worship everything Western in a cringe way. They despise Russian citizen who are not as enlightened as they are. Same way they isolate from locals in Serbia they isolated from locals in Russia living in parallel dimension.

Yes but they speak Russian between each other and use excessive Russian explicit words in daily speech So you see a clown for whom Russian is mother tongue who switches to extremely mutilated, comedian "Ukrainian" language making mistakes and putting Russian words for those Ukrainian ones he does not know and never knew.

There are even some alternatively gifted ones who even use Russian in their attacks on supposed Russians who use Russian.

They're not unsafe now. More than 50% of those who emotionally left the state in 2022 are already back, as their life quality and income fell dramatically. And most of them were running from supposed mobilization they were not needed in, in their majority, imagining it as "whole nation sent to the frontline".
