They would barely mix. They separate themselves from locals and don't see Serbia as final destination. Well, if 1% of them will stay and become citizens, it will be maximum. Plus any trouble inside Serbia like some +- serious tensions at Kosovo will make them run faster than they did from Russia. Most of them will change numerous locations before returning to Russia or settling in some random country which will be still far from their inadequate expectations.

From my experience most of Serbs who married Russian women and live in Serbia worked in Russia and found wives there (i know two-digit number of such cases). One my cousin was among them for example. He brought Russian lady from Russia regardless he was married. He divorced from his first wife and married that Russian woman. He died 7-8 years ago, and his Russian wife after his death stayed in Serbia with their two children.
I don't know for marriages between Russian men and Serbian women from real life.

Russians who are currently in Serbia are mostly couples.

How so? OK, they both speak Slavic languages and are Orthodox, but culturally and phenotypically Serbs and Russians are not that alike. Also, given the highly parochial hatreds between neighbouring Balkan groups, this apparent sense of fraternity with Russians sounds all the more risible.

It's not that simple. For instance, my mother has many Serb friends (from Serbia and Montenegro). Many people actually get along with each other, so long as they have a similar mentality. And usually it's the extremists who get more publicity than common people.

Also, I think it's because both people are related to common ancestors. Both of my parents admit that we are related to all Slavs, including Russians, despite maybe not agreeing with all of the political opinions that are common among them. You can still be friends with someone without having to involve politics. I believe same thing applies to serbs

Montenegro is a birth places of Serbian rusophilia (politically). In the early 18th century Serbs of Montenegro turned to Russia as ally in their fight against Ottomans, instead of Venetia. Russians were so loved in Montenegro that Šćepan Mali took power introducing himself as Russian emperor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Šćepan_Mali

Serbs who lived under the Habsburg and Venetian rule in 18th century have established cultural and spiritual relations with Russia. Many Serbian prominent spiritual/church figures were educated in Kiev (Russia) in 18th and 19th century. Since 18th century Russia started sending books for education to Serbs in present day Vojvodina.

Makes sense they don't want to be betrayed like recently were citizens of Herson and many many others before.

    Do what you should.

303 Serbian families (about 3000 people) from northern Dalmatia in 1772. settled in eastern Galicia (modern western Ukraine) https://www.angelfire.com/80s/bajaca...vacPrica1.html

In 19th century in Odessa existed small Serbian merchant community. They came to Odessa from Trieste, and to Trieste their ancestors earlier from Mostar, Sarajevo and Bay of Kotor.
