Default A necropolis from the 1st century A.D. was found in La Puebla de Cazalla (Seville).

An excavation has unearthed items such as a lead-lined tomb with gold jewelry and precious stones inside

It is, as reported to EFE sources of the City Council, an excavation that has brought to light elements such as a tomb lined with lead with gold jewelry and precious stones inside.

The first thing he found was a vault that he broke during the work he was doing, and for three years excavations have been carried out that have brought to light up to a hundred tombs, with objects of all kinds inside, including, due to its rarity, a lipstick.

Other objects found in that tomb are a gold chain and brooch, rings, spheres or a gold ring, all found during the urbanization works of the land.

For the experts coordinating the work, it would be part of a Roman villa that would have been settled in the area until the sixth century, while the tomb initially found is located approximately in the second half of the second century or early third century.

The objects found have been sent to the Archaeological Museum for an in-depth study, while the tomb has been exhibited in a green area of the town, where, initially, it can be visited.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.
