Her voice is very hard to listen to. She over sang everything and didn't know how to nuance. I would rather listen to Dolly Parton, for example sing "I Will Always Love You" - the way it was meant to be sung. Whitney just belted out every song. Singing loud doesn't mean its good. Same for Christina Auglieria (sounds like a disease)

You’re a barely mediocre musician who can’t even make a living as a local novelty act because of your vile racist personality and inability to improve your skills. I hear better voices than yours in my local church choir. My daughter’s kindergarten teacher has better keyboard skills. You obviously have zero ‘ear’ at all if you think WH didn’t have a good voice (whether or not you like her genre or the songs she sang or her personal life.) Practically every real musician, music critic or voice coach on the planet disagrees with you, along with hundreds of millions of people who bought her music. But the sad fact is that you know that she’s thousands of times better than you and you hatehatehate that she had more success, while you struggle to get low-paid gigs as background music on the front porch of house tours. You really aren't that much more successful in music than those who have not pursued it.
Successful musicians seem to recognize Houston's talent. The opinion of a failed musician doesn't hold a lot of weight.
Many musicians have problems with drugs and alcohol, She paid for this by dying at 48 in the bathtub. Elvis's drug use took him at 42 when he died on the toilet. She seemed to handle her drugs slightly better than Elvis,
