Islamic influence. Islam always leave an important cultural element in regards to sexuality. Look at the African Muslim countries vs the non-Muslim African countries the first has almost no HIV well the latter has high HIV rate. Balkans especially Muslims have these values even if they are secular. These values in Turkey were weakened by Kemalism and in the rest of the world by “global” westernization.

Women become very competitive when it comes to dating, they try to lock down the highest tier men so they can show off, and they feel humiliated being seen with low tier men. Women can and do have casual sex with men whom they would never date and would never want to be seen with in real life.

There are several peer reviewed scholarly articles on the subject. Where the Muslim majority African countries have very low rate of HIV compared to non-Muslim ones. I will link some of them here.

There are others as well. Among Balkan Muslim’s as long they don’t get Westernization they should be good. Despite that Islam among them weakened but it was also a powerful force that protect them form abusing themselves. Islam teaches the value of sexuality and honour, and most importantly self love. Self love and self respect are big aspect of the Islamic religion.

Kemalism is a movement that appeared in Turkey by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who wanted Turkey to Weaternize and be secular. Kemalism argues that anything Western is superior to anything Oriental especially Islamic. At the same time it’s ironically very Turkist and nationalistic movement. The Kemalists lose the Islamic values and sexuality becomes liberal normalized losing its scared and dignified status through marriage between man and women, and degeneracy like homosexuality is accepted. There was a Kemalist member who kept posting LGBTQ prides in Turkey.

I agree. I also think that many Balkan christians who lived close to highly moral muslims started to learn some important things from them. Many serbs had great trust in a maternal great grandfather of mine who was a theologian and had studied Islam in Kairo. Only the best students got the chance to go to Kairo. AFAIK he knew the Qur'an fluently, which was very uncommon.

I talked to my mother about this, and asked if Islam was truly an evil religion (because some people say so) and she responded that the Qur'an, and thus Islam, is a mirror of yourself; if you are evil you will find evil in the Qur'an. And if you are good you will find good. I myself have always been keen on honesty, and I can now see why this is. I also like how the Qur'an teaches you to take responsibility in your own hands, instead of expecting that from god or someone greater.

I agree that people should be loving each other. But does it have to be sexual? I don't see the benefit of that.

Throughout the history, men have deemed promiscuity on women to be dishonorable, and women have been made to hide this side of theirs, but they do it no longer. Look at this thread, only men are complaining here. Blondie is the only female who posted here and she mentioned that many are doing prostitution willingly, and justified their reasoning. She clarified that sex trafficking is disgusting which means that she's totally ok with willing prostitutes.

I dont support that, and i am not against it, its not my business. I dont care others sexuality and what others do with their body, its their choice, athough if a woman has other choices and she wants the easy way (sex job), then i will have my own opinion on her, and its rather negative, but i would not humiliate her because of it. I see such escorts in every week, when i meet with my dad's business partners in a party or something like that.
