any european technically has west asian blood from EEF accumulation, and even older groups coming out of anatolia and further south of it. So you're partially correct. But in a modern sense, most euros do not have modern west asian blood, no.

cypriots have a high greek admixture at least is what i've seen in cypriots dna test results

depends the region.

well greeks prefer tepecik over barcin which tells me they def. have some more levantine type admixture than the typical euro and that goes for I think every greek population doesn't matter if it is mainland or island. Mainlanders have less Levant PPNB and Iran Ganj type ancestry too, but it exists just at lower admixture. Mainlanders get more steppe which is why they plot better with other euros in comparison to islanders who plot with a bigger cline to levant pops.

They weren't "hyper northern people" they were hyper european people. Found in all of west europe... obviously first in southwest probably even before north had them going by how people migrated so long ago. Northerners had more of that DNA bc it was more isolated up in Scandinavia and North East and had less of closeness to other ancient civilizations coming in and diluting... so I can see why people can mislabel, or think WHG were "northern" people, but not true. They are genetically very northern as in they are indigenous european without any other admixtures, yes.

Modern Europeans are NEF/EEF (MENA farmer) + WHG + Steppe. Steppe people are mixed with CHG so not purely european, NEF are basically archaic non semitic levantines I think. only WHG is true pure european.
