Komintasavalta has internal Finnish study that shows that Eastern Finns are the most fair-haired group in his country, and here not only they are shown as the darkest, but also undergo a sharp drop of 2 shades, without some kind of intermediate zone.

1. Dark-haired zone in Western Lithuania that would be darker than most of Poland doesn't exist;

2. Light-haired zone in Western Latvia that would be lighter than all of Estonia doesn't exist;

3. No homogeneous pigmentation zone stretching all the way from Estonia to Northern Ukraine;

4. Russians on average are lighter-haired than Lithuanians and Belarussians;

5. Northern Russians are lighter-haired than anywhere in Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, comparable only with Estonians;

After all, many MENAs and East Asians and even some South Asians can have light skin, but the difference is they almost uniformly have dark hair and dark eyes. By contrast, even countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy, Albania, Bulgaria and Greece still have many more people (per capita) with light hair and light eyes than anywhere in Asia or Africa does.
