Kazakh villages are 100% similar to Romanian villages. Tajikistan would be much more exotic to us. so voted Kazakhstan for living and Tajikistan for visiting

Kazakhstan is probably nicest and most developed country in Central Asia, but it has very extreme climate with hot summers and very cold winters, that's why i would prefer Tajikistan.

Then Kazakhstan by far. They have a pretty well developed country, interesting nature and culture. Kazakhstan is also a comfortable country to live in.
Tajikistan is the saddest country I have been to, from all points of view. :/
