Bad blood between Russians and Ukrainians

There were same people in Serb government who throughout the Yugoslav conflict claimed that Croats are our deluded brothers, that it is only small minority of those who are causing trouble, small minority of those committing war crimes and small minority of those who express profound hatred for everything Serbian. Same thing is going on right now where I can say for sure, there are numerous people in Russian state apparatus who are more then willing to indulge in a story of brotherhood bonds, " Triune Nation " , and our lost brothers who will turn back to mother Russia once NATO/EU is out. So Russians really need to stop being naive and stupid, if Serbian experience with former "brothers" was not studied, Russia indeed deserves to lose a war and be fragmented into gazillion republics. You can't fight this war halfheartedly with sympathy for your enemy, Ukrainians know that hence why they are taking hostages and blowing up stuff deep inside Russia.

Russia didn't start the war. Please stop believing the false Western narrative. Ukraine attacked its own people in the Donbas in 2014, and there has been war ever since. Russia just decided last year that enough is enough, seeing that Ukraine and US/Europe are utterly unwilling to negotiate.

Serbian and Croatian relations aren't comparable to Russian and Ukrainian at all.
Ru-Ua has a very big common and mostly positive history. Unlike Sr-Cr.
Russia is full of people of Ukrainian descent and vice versa. Unlike Sr-Cr.
Russian government has many people of Ukrainian descent and vice versa. Unlike Sr-Cr.

Concerning Kharkov's casualities, I hear that Zelensky recruits more intensively from eastern regions. Also, Kharkov is the second largest city in Ukraine.

You probably don't know that from the start of the war and to this very day Russian cities been full of propaganda posters telling that "there's a need to defend the Russian world" (Ukraine included). This propaganda is there to justify the war. What do you think Russians would think about the war without such propaganda?

Also who you call "Ukrainians"? The regions where the war started at 2022 were populated mostly by ethnic Russian and almost fully by Russophones. Now that there's war it's they who collectively suffer the most. It's they who got the reason for a hate as big as no Zelensky's propaganda could serve them.

Sure, in last decades there in Ukraine it was done much to separate the two peoples. While RF didn't care about it being done.
