1970. 5 number 10s at their teams (Pelé, Rivellino, Jairzinho, Tostăo and Gérson). The mastermind Zagallo as manager. They won the final 4-1 against Italy who is/was known for defensive football.

I think it's hard to find any team in history as good on paper and on the pitch as Brazil 1970.

I don't know the DT, although I suppose it must have been very good, but any Pele team was great.

Yeah, Brazilian managers never get much press as they're pretty bad on average and as for some bureaucracy reasons very few were able to go to Europe as Simeone, Pochettino, Sampaoli or Bielsa.

But Zagallo was great. Revered by his peers and able to coach Brazil in 1970 and 1998, reaching two finals. If the guy's longevity as a coach is not impressive I don't know what else is.

In that I'm at the side of Argentinians though. Even the delusional Menottistas are impressively good.

Ah I remember, if he is a good coach, it seems that the Brazilian coaches sometimes have a hard time succeeding but that coach made Brazil play well at least from what I saw of 98, unfortunately Brazil played horrible in that final, the only bad game they had in that world cup was the final.

I know it says champions, but the one of 82 should always be named

1970 was the best team in both theory and practical, it had the most impressive campaign winning against other legendary squads such as defending champions England, traditional Uruguay and Italy (even if tired after the historic match against the germans).

I name the champions because they were the ones that won, although I do not deny that there may have been a Brazilian team that has not won a World Cup and is at the same time as good as the ones in the survey.

Brazil 1970 but I think they were the best in history just because they won their rivals quite easily, which does not mean necessarily they were the best technically or by names.

Especial mention to Brazil 1982 although they did not win, and to Brazil 2002 because they joined Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Cafú, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo.

    1970.

But the 1958 team is historic. Because Brazil was not the favorite to win this tournament, it had much stronger teams than Brazil, such as West Germany, Hungary, Austria, France and the host Sweden, in addition, Brazil was considered an underdog, for having lost the World Cup in 1950 in Brazil. Manager Vicente Feola was considered crazy for having selected a 17 year old boy named Pelé for the World Cup, luckily for us this boy scored a hat-trick against France of Just Fontaine in the semi-final and two goals in the final against the hosts swedes.
