I have seen some Azeris as well who resembled common dark Indians/Pakistanis to a good degree. I think one was a minister in Azer.. government.
I saw a Turk on TV as well who looked darker type of Indian. He was some kind of an official speaking when there was an explosion at a factory or maybe after an earthquake.

Reason I asked you is because I wanted to see where Afghan Pashtuns would be in comparison to the others, not because I thought Punjabis would be nearer the top towards Kurd-IRQ. We all know Punjabis would not be closer when they have a good chunk of AASI/ASI compared to Pashtuns who have much less. Its obvious.
If you have any links for the this, can you please provide. I am not doubting you, it will save time to search myself, but I can search. That’s why Kurds have the highest R1a-Z94 (Scythian and maybe Andronovo related) in West Asia. Various publications show them 15-25% R1a depending on area
Also you or Dilawar if you can contact him, should get some of the R1a Kurds to have tests done to see their time of separation from Pashtuns. That would be of interest to see from a genetics viewpoint.
Even if Kurds are closer genetically and in appearance to Pashtuns, there are a lot more R1a people in total numbers in India and Pakistan, than there are among Kurds and Pashtuns. However, there do seem to be quite a lot of Afghans around (online types, particularly Pashtuns it seems) who don't want to hear of any kind of genetic or appearance related link with Indians because they don't want to be mentioned alongside dark people or people they consider not good looking. They are stuck in their own view of "beauty" without realising most Indians don't think too much of their looks either. When it comes to some Pakistani Pashtuns who I knew before personally, they were fine with Indians. It seems to be some of the Afghan ones who live in a fantasy world of their own. Though when I see and hear Afghans including Pashtuns on TV, they are normal people (excluding Talibans) trying to look after their families in bad times.
