As for integral territory, I wouldn't exactly call an area where you expelled 60k-100k from the Sanjak of Nish and then occupied illegally an Albanian Kosovo as integral territory . This was just some autonomous province of Yugoslavia, really.

These people were either brought into Serbia or were Shqiptarised/Albanianised…….remember Ottoman Empire? Don’t you know Shqiptars illegally entered into Drac, Serbia at 1043AD. Marjorie Chibnall, who is an expert on all things Norman, says the name ALBANIA means ones who don’t have jurisdiction one the land they inhabit.

Just want to say in short that I stick to the general ideal of the right of selfdetermination. Of course this does not answer every question and there can be a number of conflicting aspects as well. I'd like to say that people that rightfully and undisputedly live somewhere as in their traditional homeland then have this right. I'm condemning that arbitrary and hypocritical Nato war and intervention in Kosovo but I'd find it fair if the Albanians would gouvern themselves in those 90% of Kosovo that is inhabited by them.

The main question is what consequences out of history are to be accepted and what not. If I got the Serb view right, it says that the exodus of Serbs from Kosovo in 1690 was a very unrightful thing caused by the Ottoman conditions. I understand this view.

But how then to assess the respective Serbian gains out of the same process like settlement areas in the military frontier and the gain of the whole Vojvodina, without being contradictory? I think that one can not claim both at the same time, the Vojvodina because of the Serbs are there since 1690 and Kosovo because the Serbs were there before 1690 (simplified). (I actually think you made a pretty good deal with the ethnic swap between Kosovo and Vojvodina, but that's another story.)

the author claims majority of the refugees did not come from Kosovo except for some of the eastern parts which had a large Slavic population because he argues large part of Kosova was Albanian even back then. Yes that Vojvodina part is interesting , especially interesting how they took Hungarian territory where they settled as Ottoman refugees . Or maybe it's not that interesting but just what chetniks do.
