Has anybody programmed/program with C++

Just got done with the beginner level stuff so I'm no longer a beginner. Using other people's codes/api seems extremley complicated though. I'm making games

I haven't tried but I do wonder whether not to learn some programming soon. Mostly it would serve to expand my career opportunities. The only caveat that I do have is my concern that I can be too dumb to figure it out.

You can figure it out, if David Goggin's can excel at the knowledge/aptitude tests required to join special forces while having a learning disability, you can, the real question is, would the difficulty be worth being a master at C++? I'm not sure if my life's career passion is to make video games, if it really is, I think it the difficulty of C++ would be worth it.

Maybe open-source free libre games, that's always nice, because you can contribute to something good and other people can learn from your code.

Don't waste your time on programming, unless you're going to work and earn in this sphere, there are much better ways to waste your time than looking 18 hours of the day in your monitor.

I think I want to make video games, I KNOW I have artistic passions. Video games/game development seems a great way to make art tangible. What else should I do then?
