How was I being an asshole? These were adults, and they should be well aware to not give away alcohol like that. Anyhow, it only lasted for a few minutes. What mutual trust was there?

These were adults, four of them in fact, they could've done whatever they wanted to for a fact. They could've said "no, I don't give out alcohol to kids", as simple as that.

Bars and such a different, because they are regulated by law.
